The Musicians at Play Foundation, today announces the launch of The Young Composers Fellowship with the debut performance featuring local Burbank youth composer and pianist Yoni Fogelman.
Fogelman will premiere his original composition, a duet entitled “Another Walk soon,” with clarinetist Geoff Nudell on the Musicians at Play Website on May 29th at 6:00 PM PST followed by an interview with the duet partners as they also discuss the fellowship and opportunities for other young professional musicians.
“I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to share this composition with the world on such an incredible platform,” said Fogelman, who also is a participant on MAP’s Junior Board of Directors. “MAP has given me this opportunity to realize a dream, and I’m excited to share more details for other composers as we look to continue our development by writing, listening and reflecting through our art.”
“The Musicians at Play Foundation Young Composers Fellowship is an opportunity to showcase the gifted youth in our community,” said MAP Founder April Williams. “We have so much talent throughout Greater Los Angeles, this is just a start.”
