Tom Pease has a BM and MM from USC in music composition. He taught secondary choral music as well as orchestra, music history, guitar, and drama, mostly at Taft High School. While at Taft he was the Lead Teacher, chair of School Site Council, Technology Coordinator, chair for WASC Accreditation, and author of the school’s Single Plans for Student Achievement. He is now a composer and photographer.

Pease says, “A former music student of mine once told me that the reason he liked music was that it made him “feel human again.” As a music teacher for nearly 40 years, I believe that all young people should have the opportunity to “feel human again.” Musicians at Play allows me to help make that possible.”
