

As part of the Musicians at Play’s State and Federal approved Career Pathways’ Apprenticeship program, the RISE Film Scoring Orchestra brings together talented young musicians and Choirs from across Los Angeles to collaborate with professional studio musicians, contractors and a world class Music Industry Team to experience what it’s like to record a film score in a world-class Hollywood studio.
Under the direction of acclaimed world renown conductor Anthony Parnther, participants learn from leading professionals in the music recording industry and perform at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios.
This unique opportunity is open to selected students and young adults ages 14–27. There is no fee to apply.

Anthony Parnther regularly leads top U.S. orchestras, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, and Chicago Symphony.
As one of today’s most in-demand conductors and studio bassoonists, he has recorded for legendary composers such as John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Michael Giacchino, John Powell, and James Newton Howard.
Parnther led scoring sessions for major films and series including:

Perform, Record, and RISE
Participants gain hands-on experience in the film scoring process, from rehearsal to studio recording. Guided by professional mentors and studio players, RISE musicians build industry-ready skills, learn professional studio etiquette, and experience the thrill of hearing their music come to life on the big screen.
