David Perryman is the Program Director for Musicians at Play, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of music education initiatives across Los Angeles County. His leadership includes managing in-school music programs in the Inglewood Unified School District, the RISE Diversity Project for pre-professional musicians, the annual Music Is Instrumental concert in Burbank, and the Civic Orchestra of Los Angeles, MAP’s new pre-professional training orchestra. With over a decade of experience in community music education, David is a passionate arts advocate. David holds performance degrees from the University of Southern California and Baylor University. He brings to his work a deep commitment to equity, access, and the transformative power of music.
